Yesterday, comedian John Cleese listed his drawing of the Brooklyn Bridge for sale on OpenSea. He attempted to make a joke of the whole NFT boom but quickly fetched a $50,000 bid for his drawing. Now he’ll be laughing all the way to the bank.

Unsurprisingly, financial watchdogs have NFTs on their radar. According to draft guidance published by the Financial Action Task Force (FATF) may be qualified as Virtual Assets. This classification could theoretically subject many of the NFT marketplaces to more stringent anti-money laundering (AML) laws.

CryptoPunk 7966 saw a remarkable sale of $358, 454. Finally, Murat Pak’s “Metarift” was acquired by @seedphrase for $910,000.
