SHOCKING: Most People Don't Get NFTs

In an unsurprising report, Bloomberg found that 27% of Americans are very or somewhat familiar with NFTs. Only 30% understood how NFTs work. That said, 42% viewed NFTs as a legitimate form of art collection.

My conclusion: NFTs are here to stay but there’s much more education to be done for the broader market. Additionally, most people don’t need to understand the term NFT in order to understand that they can make a claim of ownership over something that’s digital.

The jaw dropping auction numbers of late combined with an SNL sketch has definitely further contributed to the NFT craze.
