NFT Market Update 2nd December 2022

Coinbase Wallet tweeted that Apple required an NFT-sending feature to be removed from the latest app update due to an in-app purchase dispute. Apple reportedly told Coinbase that the “gas fees required to send NFTs need to be paid through in-app purchase.”

The Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA) announced its entry into web3 partnering with Sandbox and Polygon. The Council’s mission is to establish a web3 blueprint for American fashion in the metaverse.

Cockpunch by Tim Ferris announced mint price for the collection will be 0.3ETH, total supply 5555, and 100% of primary sale proceeds go to the nonprofit http://saiseifoundation.org.

Solana News

Stripe announced their fiat to crypto onramp with sixteen projects. Eleven of those sixteen were Solana related including Magic Eden, Orca, Audius and NFT Backpack.

Magic Eden launched the royalty protection tool - Open Creator Protocol. Features include setting dynamic royalties, freezing trading during mint and customization on token transfers

Toys “R” Us confirmed they will be launching their NFT collection through Magic Eden’s launchpad on December 9th.
