Starbucks is working with Polygon to build its recently announced Web3 experience, Starbucks Odyssey. The experience will allow Starbucks Rewards loyalty program members and partners to earn and purchase digital collectible stamps in the form of NFTs.

Magic Eden launched MetaShield. The tool identifies NFTs listed/traded on marketplaces that bypass creator royalties. Creators can “shield” or take actions as they see fit like updating metadata, flagging the NFT, or blurring the image.

Following the collectibles partnership with M&Ms, virtual metaverse band Kingship announced that Universal Music Group has tapped mega music producers that created hits for superstars like Beyoncé, Jay Z, and Bruno Mars as songwriters for the Bored Ape band.

The team behind EthereumPoW (ETHW), a proof-of-work splinter from the Ethereum Blockchain, has announced plans to launch its hardfork “within 24 hours after the Merge.”

OpenSea tweeted they will support more chains in the future, stating, “while we’re excited about the chains we currently support on OpenSea, it’s important that people have even more choice when navigating the NFT ecosystem – in the US and around the world.”
